Alright, we get that those involved with making Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker have to be completely tight-lipped about any details regarding the film (unless you are John Boyega and lose your script), but with two days left before the epic debut, it seems like Daisy Ridley is just flat out teasing us.

While speaking to CinemaBlend during the Los Angeles press day for the film, the Rey actress was asked what authority she had over the character while making the final installment to the current trilogy. The 27-year-old star revealed:

"I will say the great thing about J.J. [Abrams] is I've felt authority like that from the get go. Even me never having done anything remotely like that before. He always listened to what I had to say, even if for the most part it's wrong. Going into [The Rise of Skywalker], there was only one thing that he pitched me before the script was written that I said, 'No, it can't be.'”

When asked what she put her foot down on, she said, “I can't say yet, but I'm sure we'll talk about it next year, because it was just something that went from the... it was just like, 'Nah.' But we didn't do that, which was a great thing.”

One could maybe speculate that the “no” was given to a romance between Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Rey. Ridley has stated in the past that she does not ship the characters the way fans do.

Good thing we only have to wait a few more days to be able to guess what it was.
