Folks involved in the Star Wars franchise are famously tight-lipped about their roles, and though Daisy Ridley can’t divulge much about the upcoming film, The Rise of Skywalker, the Rey actor did share an interesting tidbit of information recently about what’s to come.

New footage was shown over the weekend at Disney’s D23 Expo of Rey and Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver, fighting by the sea. This teaser sent fans into a frenzy, wondering if their shipping efforts will come to fruition in the upcoming and last installment of the saga.

After the conference, Ridley stopped by to speak to People, and it was there that she explained the fraught, yet oddly steamy, relationship between Rey and Kylo will be “satisfying” in the film.

Speaking of the two characters’ connection, she stated, “It’s, I think, a very satisfying story. Because also, leaving [The Last Jedi] I was like, ‘Oh I guess we’ve mined that relationship.’ No, no, we’ve mined it some more.”

But, what does it mean?! As Ridley has expressed that she isn’t here for a Reylo relationship anything more than platonic, I doubt those hopelessly romantic fans will be totally alright with the ending.

I guess we will have to wait until the film comes out on Dec. 20 to find out.
