VIDEO: 'Teen Mom OG' Stars React to Amber Portwood's Arrest in New Season Trailer

Teen Mom OG fans weren’t completely sure if it would happen, but it seems that MTV will indeed be showing the major details surrounding Amber Portwood’s July 5 arrest on the next season of the series.

People reports that TMOG star Catelynn Lowell stopped by to sit with Chelsea Houska at the Teen Mom 2 reunion episode last week. Along with co-star Cheyenne Floyd on video chat, they released the teaser trailer for the forthcoming season.

In the video below, Lowell and co-star Maci Bookout are discussing the shocking news of Portwood’s arrest on the phone. Bookout asks, “Did you see the news?,” to which Lowell replies, “About Amber? Yeah.”

“What in the hell,” Bookout exclaims as the video shows the news headline that reads, "‘Teen Mom’ star Amber Portwood arrested for domestic violence.”

Portwood was arrested earlier this year when she allegedly hit her then-boyfriend and baby daddy, Andrew Glennon, while he was holding their one-year-old son, James. She also allegedly threatened to kill herself before coming after him with a machete. The reality star has since been charged with domestic battery, entering into a plea deal to get two and a half years of probation, along with parenting classes.

A few months after the arrest, an audio clip surfaced of Portwood verbally and physically abusing Glennon in their home. Since then, fans and followers have been curious how MTV will proceed with the domestic batterer.

I guess we will have to wait and see what happens when Teen Mom OG returns next year.
