New Teen Mom OG addition Mackenzie McKee received some seriously heartbreaking news in a clip for the series recently released to YouTube, People reports.

In the video below, McKee’s mother, Angie Douthit, tells McKee and her sister Whitney the latest news she received from her doctor regarding her battle with brain cancer, and it sadly isn’t good.

Douthit explains, while holding McKee’s youngest in her lap, that the cancer has spread to multiple bones, half her liver, and in other places in her brain.

McKee takes the news silently, then quietly asks if Douthit had asked the doctors what she could expect, to which she responds, “I asked him. He said six months would be really, really pushing it…The doctors know they can’t do anything about this, really.”

Despite the grave news, Douthit remains faithful that God will intervene. “Like I always say: the bigger the cancer, the bigger the miracle…And God can do whatever He wants,” she says.

Though she remains strong in front of her daughters, Douthit does also express the sadness she feels about leaving behind her grandkids. “The hardest part is knowing my grandkids won’t remember me,” she tragically states.

McKee immediately tells her mother that her eldest son, Gannon, would not be who he is without her, saying, “He knows who raised him for three years.”

The tear-jerking scene was very hard to watch, and I’m sure difficult for McKee to process, especially with all the drama that was going on with her now-estranged husband, Josh.

We are sending all the best wishes to McKee and her family.
