VIDEO: Chris Evans Weighs in Possibility of Appearing in 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier'

Avengers: Endgame saw the end to some of our favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe characters. Though it was all bittersweet, the studio continues to look forward towards their bright future, both on the big and small screens.
One show in particular, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+, is highly anticipated. The series will, as the title suggests, follow the Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) as they continue the legacy Captain America (Chris Evans) left to them at the end of Endgame. This had made fans curious if Evans will reprise his role in any capacity, such as for a flashback, on the show.
Unfortunately, ComicBook.com reports that Evans is content with the way things ended for him and the Cap in the MCU, and he probably won't be returning anytime soon.
He told Entertainment Tonight while promoting his film Knives Out:
“No, probably not. I mean it was really tough to say goodnight. There was a million ways that whole tenure with Marvel could have gone wrong and it didn't, and so to stick the landing so well they would be ashamed to kind of revisit unless there was something very unique and we felt the need to reveal. So for now, it just feels like let's just let's be content with how well it ended.”
Though many fans will be disappointed to hear that Evans has said goodbye to the role of Steve Rogers, I think we can all agree with the actor that his ending was perfect.
