Jesse Eisenberg recently brought back his old role of Columbus in the sequel film Zombieland: Double Tap, but he revealed this week that he is also interested in reprising another one of his past characters.

MovieWeb reports that the 36-year-old actor sat down with them recently to discuss his upcoming film, and was asked whether or not he would like to play Lex Luthor again in another DC film. The Social Network star enthusiastically replied:

“Oh, 1000 percent. Which is not even... that's ten pies. Ten full pies. Yeah, of course. Yeah. I loved it so much. I mean I was the shyest kid in the world. To get to play a mean character with flamboyance like that is exhilarating. I probably won't do another. I don't know if they're making another one where I would be in it. But no, I loved it. It was great. I'm so happy I got to do it. Ever.”

As you remember, Eisenberg took on the role of Superman’s arch nemesis in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. As he stated in his quote, he brought a different flavor to the villain than fans had seen in the past, drawing on the more of the chaotic side of the character, rather than stoic, bald-headed version we have seen in past iterations.

Unfortunately, given the disappointment Justice League brought to critics and fans of the DC Universe alike, it's looking unlikely that we'll see this storyline revamped on the silver screen. But, who knows, if they can make a sequel to zombie cult classic ten years after the original was released, anything is possible.
