With summer unfortunately winding down, one major part of fall we have to look forward to is the slew of new movie releases hitting theaters, from horror flicks to comedies and everything in between. As reported by ComicBook.com, Fandango recently released a poll where fans could weigh in on which films they were most excited for going into the new season, and now have their results.

The two most popular movies from voters were IT Chapter Two, directed by Andy Muschietti, and Joker, directed by Todd Phillips. This comes as no surprise as the first IT was one of the biggest releases of 2017, even becoming the highest-grossing horror movie of all time. As for the DC film, Joaquin Phoenix's portrayal as the titular villain is already generating Oscar buzz.

Here's Fandango's full list of most anticipated fall films:

1. It Chapter Two
2. Joker
3. Frozen II
4. Terminator: Dark Fate
5. Zombieland: Double Tap
6. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil
7. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
8. Downton Abbey
9. Charlie’s Angels
10. Ad Astra

Additionally, Fandango determined fans' most anticipated male and female performances, as well as acting pairings, and movies by genre. On these lists include Linda Hamilton as Sara Connor in Terminator: Dark Fate and Tom Hanks as Mr. Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.

Though we're sad to see the season end, we're more than ready to hit the cinemas this fall.
