The character of Jim Hopper on Stranger Things might have been a rough and gruff police officer, but the actor that brought him to life, David Harbour, is a sweet and hilarious human that his castmates and the fandom adore. And, luckily for us, the writers for the beloved Netflix series just shared a blooper video of him that is sure to make you love him even more.

Mashable reports that the Stranger Things writers reached 500,000 followers on Twitter this week, and to celebrate, shared the blooper video above.

We totally get why it’s the Duffers' favorite. In the video, Hopper is trying to get rid of Mike (Finn Wolfhard) so that him and Hop’s daughter, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), stop making out in her room with the door closed. He sits down in front of the lovebirds to tell Mike he needs to go home because something happened to his grandma, but every time Harbour says the word “grandma” he starts cracking up.

In the heartwarming clip, you’ll also see Wolfhard tell Harbour “You got this,” with a high-five, as well as Brown ask Harbour, “What’s wrong with you?!” between tear-filled giggles.

If you needed a smile today, the Stranger Things writers have delivered.
