The Stranger Things cast turned the dance floor upside down at the Season 3 premiere this weekend.

The actors who portray the Hawkins gang, including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink, sported bright colors and big smiles at Santa Monica High School on Friday, June 28.

Us Weekly reports that the excited energy of the fans was only amped up when Wolfhard, 16, and McLaughlin, 17, threw shirts to fans on the bleachers. An onlooker also stated that the crowd went crazy when Brown, 15, arrived on the scene in a pretty pink gown.

The OG Hawkins crew is used to this kind of fandom, but for newcomer Jake Busey who joined the cast for the newest season, the energy was a huge surprise. The actor told Us, “I’m just glad to be a part of this show…I’ve never really experienced anything of this magnitude. I have no idea what I’m in for!”

After the premiere, the cast took their talents to the Santa Monica Pier for an after-party. Brown traded in her heels for matching pink combat boots, and was photographed dancing with David Harbour, who portrays Jim Hopper on the show.

An onlooker told Us, “Millie, Finn and Maya Hawke danced and hopped around to 'I Melt With You' on an empty dance floor with a crowd watching…They were holding hands and twirling each other.”

Season 3 of Strangers Things will be released July 4 on Netflix.
