This season of The Bachelor has been disappointing for plenty of reasons. For starters, viewers haven't been too happy with Peter Weber's decisions (or lack thereof), and they certainly haven't enjoyed watching all the petty drama between the contestants. From Tammy Ly starting feuds with both Kelsey Weier and Mykenna Dorn, to basically everyone in the house turning against Alayah Benavidez, this group of girls certainly gave off an immature vibe throughout the season. But apparently, things weren't as catty as they seemed. Mykenna is now speaking out on her experience, and it sounds way more pleasant than what was shown on TV.

Mykenna's message came after Clare Crawley was announced as the next Bachelorette yesterday. Many fans of the ABC franchise saw this casting as proof that no one from Peter's season was worthy of the spot, both for their pettiness and their young age. And when Betches posted a now-viral tweet about it, the Canadian reality star jumped in. "Imagine being so terrible as a group that ABC couldn’t even pick a Bachelorette from your season, let alone your decade," the meme read, to which Mykenna responded:

"Honestly this makes me sad. There was friendships made this season. We do get along!! Sadly you didn’t get to see it on your screens and probably won’t see it again tonight. Really hoping #TheBachelorette goes back to the basics & focuses on showing the good in people again! [heart emoji]."

It's true—if there were many friendships formed this season, we definitely didn't see it. If anything, all viewers were shown were blowout fights and awkward moments. With the ladies all fighting for a rose from Peter, it would make sense there would be some competition. But the level of drama this time around was shocking to see for even longtime fans of the series.

We're with Mykenna here, and hope future seasons of The Bachelor actually show the sweet moments between the ladies, too.
