Millie Bobby Brown Shares 'Stranger Things' BTS Video From Shoot That Made Her Throw Up

Stranger Things Season 3 has earned broad acclaim for both its emotional moments and its action sequences--and for the scenes that combine the two. This week, star Millie Bobby Brown gave insight into one such scene, sharing a stunt video from a shoot that made her throw up afterwards.
According to Digital Spy, the scene is from the sixth episode of Season 3, “E Pluribus Unum,” when Eleven (Brown) delves into the mind of Billy Hargrove (Dacre Montgomery) and, after being confronted by his Mind Flayer-possessed persona, is sent tumbling through a black void. As Brown’s video, posted to Instagram, reveals, the stunt involved the young actress being suspended in a harness and tumbling back and forth.
As her caption indicates, the stunt did not sit particularly well with Brown’s stomach: “u spin me right round baby right round ahhhh. (threw up after this).”
Previously, Brown has indicated that scenes involving the possessed Billy took a great toll on her, both physically and emotionally. “The end of episode eight was probably one of the most difficult [scenes to shoot] because physically we had to figure out how he's going to climb on top of me and scream in my face," she said, in a separate interview with Digital Spy. "How I was going to scream back in his face, and how to cry in those moments, and the specific lines and how to deliver them."
By watching the scenes, we can absolutely imagine the kind of strain this season put on Brown--but if it helps, we know that it produced a truly special piece of television.
