Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is looking back at her past, but she admits that some of it is a bit of a blur.

According to The Sun, in the reality star's upcoming memoir, titled Hope, Grace & Faith, Leah explores what she refers to as a "blackout" period, detailing intimate aspects of her intense battle with drug addiction. You can pre-order the book here.

Leah has remained pretty candid with fans about her personal struggles and apparently, she holds nothing back in this book. As the publication notes, she dives deep into her lifelong struggles with anxiety and depression and explains how her emotional and mental turmoil only worsened when she began taking pain pills, ultimately leading her down a very fuzzy path.

In a revealing excerpt from the book, Leah writes, "The crazy thing is, I didn’t even know I was that out of it when they were filming. I’ve been taking a lot of medications, but I’m not a drug addict," adding, “A lot of that period of my life is just a blackout to me. Even though people will tell me I did things. I don’t remember, or I’ll watch footage of myself on the show and have no memory of it.”

Thankfully, the MTV personality is in for some smooth sailing in her personal life, continuing to make positive strides toward coping and clarity. She sums it up with, “I can’t control what life throws at us, but what I can do is teach my daughters to live their lives with hope, grace, and faith.”

Leah's book is expected to be available on May 5.
