Justin Bieber is no stranger to performing on stage, but for the pop star, getting the guts to perform at his church seemingly took some time. On Wednesday night at Churchome in Beverly Hills, the crowd got to participate in Bieber's moment of public worship.

The pastor, Judah Smith, gave an introduction before Bieber's performance. According to TMZ, he said that "Bieber's always been a worshiper, but the time had come for him to use his immense talent to guide everyone in praising God." You can watch the video of Justin here.

Justin spoke, too, saying he hadn't performed at church before because he didn't want people to think of it as a show. Show or not, his performance was beautiful and seemed really heartfelt.

Bieber and his wife, Hailey Baldwin, have been very public about their church attendance. Earlier this summer, the model spoke about their involvement on Instagram, and how much it has helped both of them.

In the post, Hailey referred to Zoe Church in Los Angeles hosted by pastor Chad Veach and his wife, Julia.

According to Insider, it was at Hillside Church in New York that Hailey and Justin got close, and both have been very open about what the church has done to help their marriage. But Justin has been careful in the past to clarify that he doesn't consider himself a religious person, nevertheless.
