Why 'Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans and David Eason Are Being Slammed for New Post of Daughter Ensley

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans and her husband David Eason have been in the spotlight more so than ever these past few months. Although David was fired from the MTV series when he tweeted out homophobic and hateful messages, he's made headlines more recently after being accused of abusing both Jenelle and Jenelle's son Kaiser. It's not uncommon for the couple to be criticized, and the newest backlash they're facing comes from their parenting methods.

Last week, Jenelle took to Instagram to share sweet photos and videos of her and David's daughter Ensley, who was celebrating her second birthday. "This little girl had the best 2nd birthday EVER!," Jenelle captioned a series of adorable pics, in which Ensley eats cake and plays with a doll.

However, many took issue with the second photo in the series, which sees Ensley using a pacifier. According to Popculture.com, the reality star received comments such as, "She's two, why does she have a pacifier?" Another issued the warning, "My daughter is 8, has grown up teeth all in the front and still has a lisp because she had a pacifier until she was like almost 2. I'm not judging, I did it, but it isn't good for them."

On the other hand, many fans also commented on the post simply sharing their joy at seeing the cute pics. "2 already???? Wow! She is so cute! Happy Birthday Ensley!!," one wrote, with another commenting, "The cutest!!! Happy birthday!" Others took to the comments section to commend Jenelle on getting along with her mom, Barbara Evans. "So happy to see you and your mom are getting along and coming together," another fan added.

Despite still using a pacifier, Ensley looked happy and healthy during the birthday celebrations. We hope she enjoyed the party!
