It seems that director JJ Abrams has a hard time using his inside voice.

Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in the current Star Wars series, stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. While promoting her new film Ophelia, the actress was unsurprisingly asked about the upcoming movie from a galaxy far, far away. She shared a story about when Abrams first told her the plot to the newest film, The Rise of Skywalker...in a completely public area.

Ridley explained, "We were in a public, you know, café, and he fully told me the story start to finish…And he was speaking at a normal volume, and I was like, ‘people can hear us.'" It sounds like folks in that café got “the tea,” so to speak.

Ridley added that the film wasn't spoiled for long, however. “He told me the thing and then a few months later it changed,” she explained.

Fallon also asked Ridley if she was happy with the way the film, which is wrapping up the Skywalker saga, ends, to which she called it "epic."

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is expected to hit theaters on Dec. 20.
