Marvel has kept details about Avengers 4 majorly under wraps, but a new book by Brandon T. Snider has continued to confirm details of who survived the infamous snap in Avengers: Infinity War.
Last week we learned from the Avengers: Infinity War tie-in novel, Avengers: Infinity War: The Cosmic Quest, Volume Two: Aftermath, that Dr. Erik Selvig and Darcy Lewis survived the film.

This week, we learn that the new supplemental novel for Infinity War has given fans two additional characters to add to the list of those who survived Thanos’ snap: Jane Foster and Pepper Potts.
Jane Foster is Thor’s old flame who, in the novel, aids Selvig and Lewis in searching for an explanation of the Snap, according to Comic Book. The new novel provides the first real look at what the MCU has become. We’re not sure if this means that Foster will make an appearance in Avengers 4, but we’d love to see the return of Natalie Portman to the MCU.
And it seems that Foster isn't the only old love interest to return to the MCU. The novel also provides confirmation that Pepper Potts, Tony Stark's romantic partner, has survived the snap. Deadline reported that Gwyneth Paltrow will appear in Avengers 4 as Pepper Potts, confirming rumors that arose after Paltrow was spotted on set.
With all these new confirmations, we still can’t help but wonder when Marvel will give us our first look at Avengers 4.
