Hearts were broken after it was announced last month that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott were “taking a break” from their relationship, and it seems that the time apart has given the musician time to reflect on what went wrong.

Us Weekly reports that the Astroworld rapper believes he and the Kylie Cosmetics founder might have rushed into things too quickly. An insider told the publication, “[He] feels that their relationship was too fast too soon. He loves her, but he wanted to be able to live his life and travel and be with other people and not have to worry about always going back to his family.”

The former couple was first linked romantically in April 2017 at Coachella. After a few months of being spotted at concerts, NBA games, dinners, and parties, rumors started swirling that they were expecting a child. Their daughter, Stormi Webster, was born Feb 2018. In the year that followed her birth, the couple was rumored to be engaged, and even joked about having more children, before ultimately breaking up in Oct. 2019.

Though they are no longer together, the makeup mogul and her baby daddy have worked hard to be good co-parents. The two have been spotted out and about with their baby girl, and have made statements that their daughter, and their friendship, are their top priorities.

Fans still have high hopes that the two will reconcile one day, but until then, it is good to know there is nothing but love between Jenner and Scott, despite what went wrong.
