Since his introduction as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, Tom Holland has absolutely nailed the character of Peter Parker--but off the set, he hasn’t had the best reputation for keeping quiet on spoilers. This week, a new instance of trademark Holland spoiling emerged, when it came out during an interview with Jake Hamilton that the actor spoiled Iron Man’s Avengers: Endgame death for his Spider-Man: Far From Home co-stars.

According to ComicBook.com, Far From Home Stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon shared that, while they were made privy to some details about Endgame to prepare for their film, they first learned of Iron Man’s death from Holland. “He told me too early,” Zendaya said, with Batalon adding, "I feel like we talked about this way back in, like, 2016."

“I was just like, 'yo, what's up, Iron Man dies,'” joked Holland, who was present for the interview. “That's the best way to hear it! You think you want to experience that in the cinema for the first time? No!”

Zendaya then replied, “Honestly, that’s probably exactly how it went.”

Previously, Holland earned a notorious reputation for spoiling films, inadvertently revealing his character’s death in Infinity War and return in Endgame, as well as details about Far From Home’s plot. As a result, according to ScreenRant, Holland was not given the script for Endgame, receiving only his lines.

Outside of these measures, Marvel Studios has largely allowed Holland to continue on spoiling--as Endgame co-director Joe Russo remarked in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, “He's the nicest guy in the world. So you can never be punitive towards Tom Holland.”

As for us, we’re inclined to agree. We’re charmed by Holland, and while we don’t love having movies spoiled for us, we’re a lot less mad when it comes from him.
