If Tom Hiddleston himself is giddy over the new Disney+ Loki series, then Marvel fans should also be very excited.

Entertainment Weekly caught up with the 38-year-old actor before his Broadway debut in Betrayal, and asked him about the live-action series revolving around the God of Mischief. He teased:

“It’s very, very exciting because in many ways it’s the character you know, but in a context you’ve never seen him in before. And if I say any more, I’m gonna say too much. So that’s what’s so thrilling -- there’s so much to explore that I haven’t yet explored. That’s very exciting.”

While many details of the series are unknown as of now, we do know that Loki will be hopping through history changing the course of real-life historical events. Previously, Hiddleston told The Hollywood Reporter that the show is "a new departure," cheekily adding, "but I can't explain why."

Fans can expect Loki to hit Disney+ in 2021, and Hiddleston also revealed to EW that shooting is to begin in early 2020.
