Fans know that Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell is all for making a quick buck through social media posts, but her latest update is causing people to seriously shake their heads in disappointment.

Last week, both Catelynn and her husband, Tyler Baltierra, took to social to announce the heartbreaking news that their dog Caesar had passed away. "Caesar...buddy, you were the best dog I could have ever asked for," the 27-year-old dad wrote in a lengthy and emotional caption. Fans flocked to the reality stars' pages to send their condolences and wish the family the best.

Catelynn Lowell Death Message

So when Catelynn posted an alarming message to both Twitter and Instagram today, days after the sad news was shared, everyone was confused. The post read, "We are heartbroken to reveal we have lost a family member in a tragic death. We are devastated. Thank you for all your love, support, and prayers in advance. #RIP," along with a photo of the married couple hugging in distress.

When you go to the link in Catelynn's bio, it brings you to an article from Teen Mom Talk Now titled "RIP: Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra Lose Family Member in Tragic Death," in which you have to click through two pages in order to get to the point of the story—Caesar's death. Of course, people are angry that the MTV star is using the loss of her dog to make some cash. Though she (for obvious reasons) disabled comments on her IG post, people have been replying to her tweet with criticism.

One sarcastically called the move "classy," to which others were quick to agree.

Others were under the impression, based on Cate's caption, that the death was a human in their family.

Obviously, this isn't the most honorable move in the world, but after constantly seeing these types of clickbait posts from the Teen Mom family, from Kailyn Lowry to Jenelle Evans and more, it's not entirely surprising.
