Teen Mom OG stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra might be a fan-favorite pair, but it hasn’t always been sunshine and rainbows for the longtime couple.

Radar Online reports that Lowell recently sat down with the publication to discuss her marriage a year after their brief separation. Although she acknowledged that, “Gosh my marriage was rough after rehab,” they seem to be doing way better today.

The mom shared that she and Baltierra are now stronger than ever, saying, “Oh my gosh we trust each other with everything,” adding that she believes that their relationship has grown because of, “solid communication and our love. Being honest, blunt, and caring.”

Lowell and Baltierra have been together for over a decade, and have been married since 2015. Lowell admits that her battle with postpartum depression and suicidal thoughts, which forced her into rehab three different times, took a toll on her relationship.

The couples that are “Meant To Be” are the ones that go through everything that is meant to tear them apart...but instead, come out even stronger than they were before! Look at me & @catelynnmtv when we were kids, it’s cracking me up! ? But seriously...then to look at us as adults with our own beautiful children...gives me so much joy & peace, it’s unreal. That woman has been through more in her life than you can fathom. She’s a damn warrior. A mother. A wife. A lover. A best friend...& I just fall more in love her as we grow together. Because even through the roughest of times, our unconditional love for each other ALWAYS guides us back to the top with more visceral strength than before! ❤️??✌? #LoveAlwaysWins

She added, “I believe I put it through a lot! With me being gone and Tyler being a single dad I believe it was super rough for him... Of course, I still struggle with depression I think that will be a lifelong battle. With therapy and medication, it can be managed.”

Though the two have been through a lot together, including giving their first child up for adoption when they were just 17 years old, the MTV star confessed that she and her hubby feel ready to try for a boy. She stated, “We are thinking of trying when Vaeda is like one or two years old.”

We are so glad Lowell and Baltierra have been able to make it through the dark times together.
