'Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans Says David Eason Wants to Adopt Son Jace

Despite the amount of intense drama constantly going on in Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans' life, one thing seems to be a constant: her relationship with husband David Eason. Since the pair got married in 2017, they've faced a ton of backlash, between offensive social media posts to accusations they are not fit to be parents. And even though Jenelle herself called 911 on David, they've stayed together through it all.

So when Jenelle's baby daddy Andrew came back into her life in the most recent episode of Teen Mom 2 to try and see Jace, a few viewers wondered why David hasn't tried to adopt the nine-year-old child. Andrew hasn't seen Jace since he was born, so both Jenelle and mom Barbara were extremely wary about his intentions in the episode.

Jenelle later did a Q&A on Instagram, in which someone asked her why David hadn't adopted Jace. The reality star wrote back, "He wants to one day." Expectedly, many fans of the show are against this idea, with many taking to social media to express their thoughts on it.

One even pointed out how Barbara has custody of Jace, so David would have to go through her first, which doesn't seem likely.

Others are fearful of David adopting Jace because of the various accusations made against him claiming he abuses children. Most recently, Jenelle's baby daddy Nathan Griffith accused David of abusing his and Jenelle's son Kaiser, with alleged photo evidence.

While it's probably a nice wish for Jenelle and David, we don't think he'll get custody of Jace anytime in the near future.
