Stan Lee's Final Film Cameo Confirmed to Be 'Avengers: Endgame'

Although the late and great Stan Lee will continue to be honored throughout comic book projects, his final film cameo has officially been confirmed to be in Avengers: Endgame.
Since the late comic mogul's first film cameo in X-Men (2000), Lee has gone on to feature in over 30 Marvel movies, such as 2002's Spider-Man, 2011's Thor, 2016's Deadpool, and most recently 2019's Captain Marvel. And though it hasn't been revealed if he has any other cameos in Marvel TV shows, the directing duo behind Endgame have weighed in on his last for the big screen.

"This was his final cameo that was committed to film," co-director Joe Russo told ComicBook.com. "It was always... Again, I grew up as a Marvel fanatic, and watching Spider-Man cartoon show as a kid with his voice in it. I think anything that affects you as a child really affects you as an adult, sticks with you. So when he would come on set, and we'd hear his voice, it's sort of Pavlovian in a way, where you just become a child again."
It's no surprise the comic book world has still been mourning Lee's death, who passed away in Nov. 2018, as the writer co-created iconic superheroes we've all come to love, such as Spider-Man, Black Panther, the X-Men, Daredevil, and many more.
There will surely be many things to look forward to when Endgame hits theaters on April 26, now Lee's final film cameo included.
