As fans mourn Marvel mogul Stan Lee, the actors who brought his memorable heroes to life also flocked to social media in remembrance. Lee, who was a longtime writer, editor and Marvel chief, is responsible for the success of heroes like Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four.
The superhero stars each honored Lee in their own ways, including incredibly touching notes about the comic genius.
Chris Pratt, who has starred in numerous Marvel movies, including Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Infinity War, took to Twitter to share his tribute to Lee.

We’ve lost a creative genius. Stan Lee was a pioneering force in the superhero universe. I’m proud to have been a small part of his legacy and .... to have helped bring one of his characters to life. #StanLee #Wolverine pic.twitter.com/iOdefi7iYz— Hugh Jackman (@RealHughJackman) November 12, 2018

One of the more recent actors to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tom Holland, who first appeared as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War in 2016, posted his tribute to Lee on Instagram on Monday.
It's clear that Lee has impacted the lives of these actors as much as he has impacted our own.
