This might be the best day ever.

Marvel fans were understandably heartbroken last month when news broke that the studio had a falling out with Sony, meaning that the Sony-owned superhero Spider-Man would no longer be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Holland had portrayed the Queens native since 2016's Captain America: Civil War, and was reportedly set for at least one more standalone film.

Well, fans can breathe a sigh of relief. According to Polygon, Sony and Marvel have reached an agreement, and Peter Parker will be staying in the MCU for one more installment, set to hit theaters July 16, 2021. This will follow Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home.

I don't think anyone will be upset over this news!
