Sophie Turner Calls Daenerys a 'Threat' to Sansa in 'Game of Thrones' Season 8
By Olivia Montine

While Emilia Clarke and Sophie Turner may be friends off-screen, the same can't really be said for their respective on-screen characters in HBO's Game of Thrones.
Following the release of promotional materials for Season 8, including posters and a trailer, fans are speculating how Dany and Sansa will get along once they finally meet.
While much of the basis for the judgement comes from an analysis of glances and scenes between the two, we can't help but see where the theorists are coming from in thinking they will have a hard time becoming friends. People have pointed out looks from Sansa as Daenerys and Jon are walking towards Winterfell, as well as some questionable comments upon the duo's arrival from Sansa.
Turner is now weighing in on their upcoming relationship, pointing out that Sansa's expression might not mean all that much. “She doesn’t look happy most of the time, ever. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her smile," the actress told The Wrap.

She did point out, however, how much of a risk Sansa still sees the Mother of Dragons as. “I think Daenerys is a threat to the things that [Sansa] holds most dear,” the actress stated, before adding, “But you never know, they might get on like peas in a pod.”
We'll have to wait and see how this first meeting plays out when Game of Thrones returns April 14.
