"Justice for Barb" was a major movement in the Stranger Things fan-base after Nancy's best friend Barbara was dragged to the Upside Down and killed in season one. It was a devastating death that was not avenged in the Netflix series' second season, which saw another death of a character-turned-hero.

Bob, the season two love interest of Joyce Byers, was one of the most wholesome characters on the show. Fans waited for the moment Bob displayed rage or revealed himself as an undercover agent, but he remained pure. That is until he was brutally killed by some Demodogs.

His death saddened viewers, leading to many demanding justice for him, too. However, the actor behind the would-be stepfather of Will and Jonathan, Sean Astin, doesn't believe his character needs any further justice.

"No, absolutely not," Astin told CinemaBlend when asked if the series needs to deliver justice to his character in season three. Instead, the Rudy actor believes Barb is the character who deserves avenging.

"You don't know what happened to Barb. In fact, I still don't know what happened to Barb," he said. "You have a basic idea that it didn't go well for her, but she was so good and so noble and thoughtful. That was a miscarriage of storytelling justice there, and I think the Duffers love that. But no, Bob died a hero's death, so he's acknowledged for his sacrifice and there you go!"

Astin's right about a hero's death, as him being killed is what led to Joyce's courage to get the Mind Flayer out of Will's body. Moreover, Will honored Bob with a drawing of the Radio Shack manager as a superhero.

Though Astin doesn't believe his character deserves martyr status, he does appreciate one cute Bob tribute.

"The one I liked, my wife got home from one of the department stores and she bought a shirt and it said, 'Bob Deserved Better.' So I'm a little happier with that one," he shared.

Stranger Things season three premieres on Netflix July 4.
