Scott Disick Reportedly Trying to 'Start a Bond' With Sofia Richie's Family

Remember way back in early seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians when Scott Disick was just a whiny and entitled boy? Fans and the Kardashian-Jenner clan alike have watched his journey over the years as he's developed in maturity and devotion as a father. Even Scott himself has noted this, and in a confessional on Flip it Like Disick, credited it to his girlfriend, Sofia Richie.

With this wonderful relationship blossoming, it's no wonder that Scott wants a closer bond with Sofia's family. A source recently told US Weekly:

“Since Scott is a father himself, he recognizes the importance of a close bond with his children and would never want to harm the relationship between Lionel [Richie] and Sofia, especially because Scott’s parents have both passed away. He values family above all else and will always look to build a bond with Sofia and her family, and would never want to detract from it.”

As fans know, Lionel hasn't always been a fan of Sofia and Scott's relationship. But based on a recent report by E! News, things might be changing. An insider told the publication that although he still isn't cool with their 15-year age gap, the iconic singer "has accepted their relationship."
