Ron Leibman, Actor Who Played Rachel's Dad on 'Friends,' Passes Away

Ron Leibman has sadly died at age 82, People reports. The Emmy winning actor passed away on Friday after a battle with pneumonia.
Most fans will remember Leibman as Rachel Green's father on Friends, but his career was full of noteworthy highlights. In 1979, he earned an Emmy for his role as Martin “Kaz” Kazinsky in the CBS series Kaz. He was also the co-creator of the show. In 1987, he was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in Christmas Eve. In addition to his career on television, Leibman was also a Tony winning theater actor.
Many people have taken to social media to pay their condolences.
Leibman is survived by his wife Jessica Walter. Rest in peace.
