'Riverdale' Season 3 is Now Streaming on Netflix

Riverdale, the CW’s adaptation of the Archie Comics universe, has soared in popularity since it premiered in 2017, with the compelling characters and increasingly ridiculous plotlines making it a show that’s extremely bingeable. Now, lapsed Riverdale fans will have the chance to experience the next twists and turns in the story of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, and the gang, as Season 3 of the show is now streaming on Netflix.
This new season, as reported by Decider, features the appearance of a new villain called The Gargoyle King, the addition of former One Tree Hill and Agent Carter star Chad Michael Murray to the cast, and a flurry of madcap events--we won’t spoil anything, but we’ll just say that there has been no shortage of memes about the series.
Season 3 also marks the final appearance of actor Luke Perry, who portrayed Fred Andrews. Earlier this year, Perry died suddenly of a massive stroke. Though his passing is not remarked upon in Season 3, there are plans to memorialize the character.
Additionally, Riverdale has been renewed for a fourth season on the CW, so expect the wild ride to continue. It’s unclear what exact date it will premiere, but Decider reports that the new season is expected this October.
For now, though, we’re going to be focusing on watching and rewatching Season 3 of Riverdale through Netflix. Whether you’re an old fan or new, now is the perfect time to join in on the roller coaster ride that is the series.
