Chad Michael Murray Teases What We Can Expect Next From 'Riverdale's Edgar Evernever

This week's episode of Riverdale had its share of head-turning moments. The second annual musical episode, which included the cast acting out Heathers, featured duets, breakups, makeups, and so much more. However, one of the most talked about moments from the episode included Chad Michael Murray's appearance as Edgar Evernever.

The teen drama star best known for his role on One Tree Hill gave fans teasers as to what else they could expect from his ominous character, who we had not heard much about until now.

"I've always been intrigued by the Riverdale universe just because, obviously it's historic, with all the years of the comics, and now it's this newfound super fandom," Murray said to Cosmopolitan of his decision to join the cast.

And what was Murray's response when he was asked what's in store for his character for the rest of the season? "It's going to be a wild ride. Strap on your seatbelt."

"Edgar is a unique character," the actor went on to say. "I think there are so many layers to peel back, so it's a very slow burn on really discovering who this man is, what his background is, and where he comes from. It's been fun for me to see where he's going, what he wants, and what his quest is all about. Beyond that, I can't say much. He's the leader of the Farm. The Farm very much believes in Edgar and their cause."

We're just as excited as Murray to watch what happens with Edgar for the rest of the season!
