REPORT: Ariana Grande in Talks to Headline Manchester Pride Festival
By Kwadar Ray

Before the recent hardships in Ariana Grande's life including a break up with then-fiancé Pete Davidson and the death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, the singer was in the middle of one of the biggest tragedies in modern history nearly two years ago.
The infamous Manchester Bombings in May 2017 killed 22 innocent victims at one of Grande's concert. "Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don't have words," Ariana tweeted at the time.
Shortly after, the singer returned to Manchester to host "One Love Manchester," a benefit concert that raised nearly $20 million.
Now, Ariana has confirmed that she will return to the English city, despite not originally listing it in the UK dates for her Sweetener World Tour earlier this month. She confirmed on Twitter there is one "last special UK date" not included yet.

On one of her recent Instagram story posts, she also confirmed that she's returning to Manchester, stating: "We need a bit more time getting things together before we can announce that date but we are, of course, coming and we love you."
And we may know which event the "Breathin" singer will return for. According to The Sun, Ariana is reportedly in talks with Manchester Pride and its organizers to headline the event on Aug. 25, 2019.
Manchester Pride is one of the UK's longest running LGBT+ pride festivals. Grande, who became an honorary citizen of Manchester after the bombings, has performed at multiple pride events in the past, which has led many to proclaim her as a "gay icon."
