Mindy Kaling and BJ Novak Reunite With Adorable 'Office' Reference Post

Kelly Kapoor and Ryan Howard were, by far, the world’s most dysfunctional fictional couple (yes, even more than Dwight and Angela), but even in the series finale of The Office, the two just couldn’t stay away from each other. Now it seems that they have been reunited once more, and just in time for the Holidays.

Kelly actor Mindy Kaling posted a picture of her and B.J. Novak this past weekend looking spiffy for a Christmas party. The 40-year-old writer and star of the beloved series captioned the reunion picture, “Benihana was closed so we had to head out to a Christmas party at a friend’s house,” referencing the season three episodes where Michael Scott (Steve Carell) and Andy Bernard (Ed Helms) pick up dates at the restaurant chain for the Dunder Mifflin holiday party.

Needless to say, fans were beyond thrilled to see the not-so-happy couple together once more. One fan commented, “True love always wins! #kellyandryanforever.” Another quoted Kelly, writing, “Ryan used me as an object.” One caring fan advised, “Make good choices!”

As if Kelly and Ryan ever made good choices.

Though a lot has changed since the show ended six years ago, it seems that Novak's great sense humor is not one of them. He posted on the picture, “I have such a beautiful smile,” which couldn’t be more true to his character.
