Lamar Odom's Son Goes Off After Finding Out About Sabrina Parr Engagement on Instagram

It seems that there is already trouble in paradise for Lamar Odom and his new bride-to-be. This week, the Darkness to Light author announced on Instagram that he had popped the question to his girlfriend of just a few months, Sabrina Parr. The happy couple posted pictures of Parr’s huge, pear-shaped diamond ring.

Which is apparently how Odom’s family, including his children, also found out about the engagement. Cosmopolitan reports that the former NBA player’s son, Lamar Morales-Odom Jr., was so upset about finding out on social media that he took to his own Instagram to vent. In a now deleted post, he stated:

“Not a [text] or phone call to see how people who’ve known this dude his whole life to see how we would feel or react. Knew shawty for 4 months and already got you twisted, fam [and] friends already don’t approve of homegirl but she already got your ass [in a] sunken place. Shame family gotta find out on social media but that’s been how life been all the time as a son of an Odom.”

It is definitely understandable why the 17-year-old is upset at his father, but after a night of rest, Odom Jr. deleted the post and replaced it with a much calmer message, writing:

“Last night, I was emotional seeing my father got engaged through social media. I was hurt and caught off guard. At the end of the day, I am a teenager that is becoming a young man. I have to be responsible for what I post, I have nothing but love for my dad and want what’s best for him.”

Hopefully things cool down for the Odom family, or they will be having one awkward wedding.
