Kim Kardashian Just Shared Her First-Ever Tweet and It's Adorable

Looking back at our early social media posts can be as embarrassing as looking at yearbook pictures from middle school (thank goodness MySpace doesn’t send us memory reminders, am I right?). But luckily for Kim Kardashian, her first tweet was as sweet and wholesome as apple pie.

E! News reports that the KKW Beauty founder posted her first ever tweet this week, and she couldn’t help but LOL at herself. The tweet, posted back in March of 2009 when Kimmy was just a sweet little 28-year-old star reality TV star, reads, “Hey guys it's Kim Kardashian! I finally signed up for Twitter! There are a few fakes so just know this is the real me!!!”

Why was the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star creeping into the archives of her old posts? Kardashian looked back at her social media presence for her E! True Hollywood Story episode. In the episode, she discusses how she has used social media as a platform for other ventures.

Needless to say, Kardashian got lucky with her first tweet. On the social-media-embarrassment scale ranging from unironically posting lyrics from “Party in the USA” on one end (yikes), all the way to being the first person on Twitter to invent an amazing meme, I’d say she is sitting somewhere in the middle with her adorably awkward greeting to the Twitterverse.
