Kim Kardashian seems to have made an entire culture furious...again. Just weeks after pulling the name "Kimono" for her shapewear line because of its insensitivity towards Japanese culture, the reality star released her newest eyeshadow palette called "Sooo Fire," and people are really upset.

Since the palette theme is, of course, about fire, the names for each shadow were chosen to complement it. Many of them are fine, like "Fire" or "Lava," but others are causing some serious concern. "Pele's Curse" and "Kilauea" have people wondering what is going on, as its taking from Hawaiian culture.

Kilauea, for example, is an active volcano in Hawaii and is considered a sacred mountain. In Hawaiian mythology, Kilauea is considered the embodied form of the goddess Pele, the deity of fire, lightening and volcanoes. So the fact that Kim named two shadows after both a sacred place and a goddess--eyeshadows which she sells for profit--has people very angry. And they've been speaking out on Twitter about it.

Users are reminding Kim that cultures are not for sale.

Others are suggesting that if Kim is going to make money off of Hawaiian culture, at least use the money to protect sacred grounds, like Mauna Kea, where astronomers are attempting to build observatories.

People make mistakes but the fact that cultural appropriation is becoming a regular occurrence in the Kim Kardashian empire is a real problem. We'll have to see if she pulls the product to rename it, like she did with her shapewear line, or if she'll leave it and continue to face backlash.
