Kim Kardashian has found herself at the center of yet another controversy surrounding cultural appropriation.

The star has received backlash in the past for appropriating culture in her hairstyles, but the latest controversy concerns her use of Indian Jewelry, according to PopCulture.com.

In an Instagram post this past Thursday, the star posed in a white off-the-shoulder dress accompanied with gold earrings and a Maang Tikka jewelry piece traditionally worn by brides in the South Asian culture.

Many said the mogul "stylized" the cultural piece, and did not pay the appropriate respects to the culture it was from. Given the caption on her Instagram post, it can be inferred that she wore the piece to the "Sunday Service" that she hosts weekly with husband Kanye West.

Kim received comments on her IG post such as, "This is cultural appropriation and it’s just not cute anymore kimmie....," and "Keep to your own and stop stealing others cultures and their ideas and making them your own."

We're sure this won't be the last time Kardashian finds herself under fire for social media posts, but hopefully she will take the comments and improve her treatment of elements she incorporates from other cultures.
