Just like his sister-in-law Kylie Jenner, Kanye West is officially a billionaire. That is, at least, according to Forbes.

The magazine sized up West's assets, including his Yeezy sneaker collaboration with Adidas, which Forbes estimated raked in a whopping $140 million from sales last year. Additionally, between his various properties and G.O.O.D. record label, there's an additional $90 million under his belt, the publication reports.

However, after assessing the numbers and concluding West's worth to be about $1.3 billion, Kanye contested that estimation. According to the rapper, he's worth much more. In fact, he apparently texted the magazine to say so. "It's $3.3 billion since no one at Forbes knows how to count," he said, according to the publication.

According to Forbes, 'Ye has been texting the magazine for some time. When he wasn't included on their billionaire's list last month, he said, “You know what you’re doing. You’re toying with me and I’m not finna lye [sic] down and take it anymore in Jesus name.” The magazine reports that even at one point, he claimed that Forbes is “part of a group of media” that was trying to suppress his self-made narrative because of his race.

For most stars, being labeled a billionaire by Forbes would be a dream come true, but for Kanye, he wants to make sure the facts are straight. That's multi-billionaire to you, he claims.
