'Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry Hits Back at Claims She Only Feeds Her Kids Junk Food

Followers of the Teen Mom 2 series know that star Kailyn Lowry has come under criticism for many things over the years, whether it be over concerns for her dating life or the drama she's caused with other cast members. However, many would have to agree that the mom-of-three is great at parenting, right? Well, apparently there is some backlash Kail receives when it comes to how she feeds her kids, and she's really not about all the mom-shaming.

The Pennsylvania native took to social media this week to clap back at the shaming, which apparently is over the fact that people believe she "only" gives her children "junk" to eat. As reported by In Touch Weekly, Kailyn shared an adorable photo of her two-year-old son Lux eating fruit, writing, "YOu OnLY fEeD TheM juNK fOOd." You can see the sweet pic below with the message cropped out.

Back in September, Kailyn was publicly criticized over the food she had at her home. According to Moms.com, the MTV personality shared a pic on Twitter showing off a new pantry, and her snack choices weren't exactly praised. Reacting to bags of Fritos, Cheetos, Lays, and more, one person replied, "Awesome! But way too much junk food." Another wrote, "Nice, but it just needs more healthy options!" On the other hand, Kail's Teen Mom co-stars gushed over her organizational skills, with Maci Bookout writing, "Omg stop. I envy you. #goals," and Chelsea Houska adding, "Goals."

Unlike her cast mates, Kailyn doesn't receive too much heat for the way she raises her kids, but rather for who she chooses to have them with. She's currently expecting her fourth child with Chris Lopez, who is also father to Lux. The reality star herself has come out and said Chris hasn't been there for their son, and that they have "no co-parenting." Additionally, she admitted their relationship was abusive in her book A Letter of Love.

We can always count on Kailyn to hit back when she's criticized for her choices, whether it be her parenting or her love life.
