Kailyn Lowry Asks for Fan Advice as She Considers Giving Her Fourth Child His Dad Chris Lopez's Last Name

After weeks of speculation and leaks, Kailyn Lowry of Teen Mom 2 fame finally confirmed in February that she is expecting her fourth child. The 27-year-old Pennsylvania native shared the news on Instagram along with an adorable photo seen below of her sitting with her three kids—Isaac, Lincoln, and Lux—holding ultrasound pictures. Her former flame Chris Lopez is Lux's dad and this will be her second child with him.
Fans of the MTV reality series know that Kailyn and Chris have not had the most healthy of a relationship. In fact, it was reported that the mom-of-three was granted a restraining order against him in Oct. 2019, after he was allegedly arrested twice that month.
Lowry herself has said that “there’s no co-parenting right now” with Lopez and she even publicly accused him of cheating on her while she was pregnant with his child. Chris fired back at these allegations and has even announced his plan to make a documentary, presumably so people can hear his side of the story. Talk about a bumpy ride! And now, to make matters more interesting, The Sun reports that Lowry asked her Instagram followers whether or not she should give her unborn child his biological father's last name.
"[Giving a] child their father's last name is EARNED, right?" she asked. "As in, he's there for the entire pregnancy, he assures y'all are safe, REGARDLESS if y'all together or not, he's a MAN through the entire process, doctor's appointments, anything else that comes with it......like is that the wrong way to look at it?" she wrote. "I just believe that you shouldn't name your child after somebody who clearly proves they dgaf about you carrying their baby...but I want y'all opinions tho."
Considering the circumstances, I think an argument can be made either way. Hopefully Kail figures it all out in time for her baby boy to arrive!
