Justin Bieber Breaks Silence on Sexual Assault Accusations With Lengthy Twitter Explanation

Justin Bieber is speaking up after being accused of sexually assaulting a woman in 2014 over the weekend. In attempts to dispel the story, the singer methodically laid out a timetable of events in a series of tweets that he says should prove him unequivocally innocent.
As reported by E! News, a woman calling herself Danielle alleged that Bieber sexually assaulted her on March 9, 2014 at the Four Seasons in Austin, Texas. Even though it appears the account has since been deleted, she wrote, "I'm posting this anonymously because I'm not ready to come forward and reveal myself. If he comes across this, you know who I am. I know you remember me. I hope your life is hell after this and you drown in guilt."
A day later, the "Intentions" singer created a thread on Twitter to prove that the accusations could not be factual, providing receipts from an Airbnb and a Westin Hotel, showing that he was not staying at the Four Seasons on the night in question. One of his tweets reads, "As [Danielle's] story told I did surprise a crowd in Austin at Sxsw where I appeared on stage with my then assistant side stage and sang a few songs. What this person did not know was that I attended that show with my then gf Selena Gomez."

I don’t normally address things as I have dealt with random accusations my entire career but after talking with my wife and team I have decided to speak up on an issue tonight.

In the past 24 hours a new Twitter appeared that told a story of myself involved with sexual abuse on March 9, 2014 in Austin Texas at the Four seasons hotel. I want to be clear. There is no truth to this story. In fact as I will soon show I was never present at that location.

Every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed. However this story is factually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action.

Bieber provided emails, fan tweets, paparazzi photos, receipts, and news articles as alleged proof that he was never at the Four Seasons on March 9. While he was seen at the hotel on March 10, tweets confirmed that he was actually seen at the hotel's restaurant and did not stay at the hotel.
It looks like Bieber and his management team wanted to really build a case and demonstrate that the allegations could not possibly be true. "Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don't take lightly," he tweeted, noting that he would be working with Twitter and authorities to take legal action and denounce the "factually untrue" story.
