Jordyn Woods is celebrating a new chapter in her life with some fresh ink.

The 21-year-old model was spotted last week leaving a tattoo shop with a bandaged arm, also teasing her new ink in an Instagram Story the same day. While we couldn't tell what the tattoo was at first, we could see that it was pretty massive.

Jordyn didn’t tease fans for long, however. People reports that the budding actor revealed her new ink at UOMA Beauty Summer House party on Saturday, and again at the 47 Meters Down: Uncaged premiere.

Woods’ new forearm tattoo is very thin, black cursive writing with the message, “What’s meant for me will never miss me.”

The quote is an excerpt from the writings of by Al-Shafi’i, an Arab Muslim writer, theologian, and scholar who lived around the eighth century. Shafi’i's full passage is, “My heart is at ease knowing that what was meant for me will never miss me, and that what misses me was never meant for me.”

Though Woods has not confirmed it, one can only guess that the tattoo has some personal connection to the past year she has endured. As most know, Woods, who was once best known as Kylie Jenner’s best friend, was a part of the pop culture scandal of the decade when it was discovered that she was involved in an alleged kiss with Tristan Thompson.

At the time of the alleged kiss, Thompson was dating Jenner's sister, Khloé Kardashian, with whom he shares a one-year-old daughter.

Though she and Jenner became estranged after the incident, Woods’ tattoo might be a sign that she has moved past the ordeal for good.
