Jordyn Woods is Cosmopolitan UK’s September cover girl, and she is using it as an opportunity to tell the world that she is moving forward.

The 21-year-old model was best known as Kylie Jenner’s best friend, until earlier this year when there was an alleged kiss between Woods and Tristan Thompson, the then-boyfriend and baby daddy of Kylie’s sister Khloé Kardashian.

In the interview, Woods states of the kiss, “I didn’t know how to feel. I was like, ‘That didn’t just happen.’ I [told him] ‘I need to go.' I was leaving already so I walked out immediately. I got in the car. I was in shock.”

Since the incident, Woods has gone through an onslaught of hate and criticism, which she admits was hard to completely ignore. “It becomes addictive to look on the internet, to look at your name," she says. “When I would look at my name and see all of the things that people were saying, it became like a tumor. It became cancerous to me.”

Though she has been a lot, even at the hands of Jenner and her family, she doesn’t have any bad blood towards her ex-bestie. When asked if she and Jenner would ever reconcile, she stated:

“I love her. That’s my homie. I hope everything falls into place and that we can all grow and build our relationships with our family and God and come back together one day and be stronger and happier.”

Jenner hasn’t commented on Woods’ statements as of yet, but maybe the interview will be the olive branch the makeup mogul needs to move past the drama.
