The court hearings continue as Jenelle Evans and David Eason fight to get their children back. The couple was spotted this morning at Columbus County Court for their second hearing of the week.

According to RadarOnline, Jenelle was on the stand defending herself for the entirety of the July 1 hearing. The Ashley says that David also took the stand but only his own lawyer questioned him.

On Monday, when the couple left court, David had a stack of papers in his hands, which he claimed was "new evidence." Apparently, they are digging into the past of a government worker on the case who has a criminal record from ten years ago.

Jenelle and David were photographed outside the courthouse today, with the former wearing a pink button-down shirt and black slacks, and the latter sporting a suit and tie. The pair reportedly did not speak with paparazzi as they entered.

The couple has also been active on the phone recently. TMZ got audio access to a 911 call David made after he and Jenelle had a FaceTime call with Jace. On the phone, they say Jenelle's mother, Barbara, put Ensley in a room and locked the door so that she couldn't get out. Jenelle and David told Jace to open the door but he couldn't, and Ensley was apparently screaming the entire time. Jenelle shared their side of the story to Us Weekly.

On the call, David asked the dispatch operator to report the incident with Child Protective Services but the operator said he would have to do that with police. There is no information if David went forward with this decision.

We'll continue following the controversial couple's court case and see if any decisions can be made regarding their children.
