David Eason called 911 on mother-in-law Barbara Evans, claiming that Jenelle Evans' mother locked their two-year-old daughter, Ensley, in a bedroom. Now, Jenelle is speaking out about the event, explaining why her husband made the call.

Jenelle told Us Weekly that she and David were FaceTiming her son, Jace, who has lived with Barbara most of his life. While on the phone with him, they allegedly saw Barbara put Ensley in a bedroom and once she was in the room, Ensley started crying.

“We asked Jace what was going on, and he said my mom locked Ensley in the bedroom so she can take a shower. We told Jace to get the door open, and when he couldn’t get the door open, we called 911 for help because all we could hear was Ensley screaming," Jenelle told Us.

As a result, David called 911, and TMZ later obtained audio from the call. David says to the dispatch operator in the audio: “My mother-in-law has locked my 2-year-old child in the bedroom so that she could take a shower, and now she can’t get the door open, and my child is freaking out." According to David, Ensley had been screaming for "five to ten minutes."

On the phone, David asked if the incident could be reported to Child Protective Services, but the operator informed him that he would have to do that with the police in person. So far, there is no information if David has gone forward to report the incident or not.
