Jenelle Evans Responds to Rumors She and David Eason Split

Marriage isn’t easy, and anyone with a spouse can tell you that. Fights happen and there are cold shoulders given. Apparently, millennials will even unfollow each other on social media during rough patches, but that doesn’t mean they’ve split up, according to Jenelle Evans.

Rumors arose that Jenelle and husband David Eason split up after the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram, but Jenelle shut it down real quick via a Dec. 4 Instagram Story.

“Lmfao Married couples have disagreements but that doesn’t mean they are ‘splitting up.’ #RUMORS,” the Teen Mom 2 star wrote. “My mom isn’t even friends with me on social media.. why does social media determine someone’s life?”

Evans recently re-followed her husband on Instagram. Eason, on the other hand, does not follow his wife, or anyone, on the social media platform.

Evans and Eason, parents to 22-month-old Ensley, tied the knot in Sept. 2017.

If any fan still had questions about the reality star's relationship status, the sweet video of his daughter and wife that Eason posted on Instagram is bound to clear everything up.

But this isn’t the first time that the pair’s relationship has been called into question. In October, Evans accused her husband of spousal assault and spent some time in the hospital, according to UsWeekly.

“My husband, he just assaulted me,” Evans said on the phone with a 911 operator at the time. “He pinned me down on the ground in the yard, and I think I heard my f****ng collarbone crack and I can’t move my arms.”

Later that month, she announced that they’d “never been happier” and that the incident was “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding.”

We know that Jenelle said social media shouldn't determine someone's life, but we can't help but wonder if David will ever follow his wife back on Instagram.
