Jenelle Evans Celebrates 'New Beginnings' While Spending Easter With David Eason, Barbara, and Kids

For longtime viewers of the Teen Mom franchise, fans will know that Jenelle Evans has not always had a good relationship with her mom, Barbara. A lot of turmoil came to a head last spring when the former MTV star's husband, David Eason, murdered the couple's small french bulldog. Following the incident, the pair briefly lost custody of their children, and Barbara would not let Jenelle's son Jace back to his mother's house.

Although Jenelle announced her split from Eason a few months after the shooting occurred, even getting a restraining order against him and filing for divorce in October, the couple has decided to give their marriage another chance. Despite all of this drama, it seems that Jenelle and her family were able to set aside their differences and celebrate Easter Sunday together.

Jenelle shared a few adorable snaps on her Instagram, showing her having a great day spending time with her mom, husband, three kids, Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley, as well as her husband's daughter from a prior relationship, Maryssa. "I cannot begin to say how happy I am that everyone got along today!", she captioned the post. "If you’ve been following my story since I was 16, you would think this day would never come! Home cooked meal by my mom, David having normal conversations with my mom, dyed some eggs with the kiddos, and hunted for more eggs. Today couldn’t have went any better. Here’s to new beginnings!"

New beginnings, indeed! It looks like Jenelle spent a great Easter with her family, sans drama!
