Jenelle Evans and David Eason Reportedly Brought 'New Evidence' to Court This Week

Jenelle Evans and David Eason were spotted leaving court on Monday, July 1, with a stack of papers but no children. The couple was leaving Columbus County Court in North Carolina when David pointed to the papers and called it "new evidence," according to Radar Online. They claimed they had a secret that would help them get their children back.
Followers of this story will know by now that all of their children were removed from their home after David shot and killed Jenelle's dog, Nugget, for allegedly snapping at their two-year-old daughter, Ensley. Jace, Jenelle's nine-year-old son, was already in the custody of her mother, Barbara. Ensley then went to stay with Barbara and Jace following the incident. Jenelle's five-year-old son, Kaiser, went to stay with his father, Nathan Griffith. And David's 11-year-old daughter, Maryssa, is believed to be in the care of her grandmother.
Allegedly, the "evidence" David is gathering pertains to a government worker who is involved in the case. This individual apparently has a criminal record from ten years ago. Jenelle and David have both been arrested themselves on different occasions.
The couple is reportedly happy with the new judge in this case and they're optimistic that things will move forward in their efforts to get their kids back.
Jenelle and David spent this past Sunday with her ex, Nathan Griffith and his girlfriend, Ashley Lanhardt, to celebrate Kaiser's birthday. The lawyers involved in the case gave permission to Jenelle and David to attend the party, according to Nathan. Jenelle's mother was also at the party. So while the couple continues to fight for custody, at least they got to participate in the family celebrations.
