Jason Momoa Weighs in on Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck Leaving Their DC Roles

Jason Momoa, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill were a solid trio for the DC Extended Universe. Not only did the three appear in Justice League together, but they have all gotten their own individual films-- with Momoa's Aquaman arriving in theaters in just two weeks.

However, Momoa might just be the lone remainder out of the three, after Cavill reportedly decided it was time to hang up the Superman role and Affleck is currently tackling personal issues before taking on more roles. Fans are almost certain neither actors will be reprising their respective roles.

However, the Aquaman actor says he has no issue with their decisions if they do indeed leave.

“If they’re both out, then listen: It’s just the place they’re at in their careers. I mean, how many has Henry done? He’s done three?” Momoa said in an interview with HuffPost. “Yeah, I mean, like, you want to move on."

Momoa speculated on what the future may hold for Affleck and Cavill.

“I mean, Henry wants to just expand on something,” he continued. “Ben is an amazing director that is of age, and probably he’s done enough. I don’t know how to speak on behalf of them, but I had the time of my life [on Justice League].”

Momoa is slated for one more role as Aquaman under his contractual obligations, and believe it or not, he already has some plans for the upcoming sequel.
