It seems that Bran Stark has become pretty fond of his crown.

The Sun reports that Isaac Hempstead Wright, who played Bran Stark in Game of Thrones, attended the Q Awards this week, where he took a moment to discuss the beloved series. As you know, Bran ended up being named the king of a more democratic Westeros in the final episode of the show, but as author George R.R. Martin is still completing the final novels that inspired the HBO series, Bran’s fate on the page could diverge from that on the screen.

Why do you think I came all this way? #GameofThrones

When Wright was asked how he would feel if Bran isn’t named king in the books, he admitted, “I will be a bit gutted I think,” but added that he is excited to see how Martin finishes the franchise. He added, “What’s nice is the fact the books and the show were able to evolve as their own thing. So George has no obligations to end it in any of the same ways we did…That’s quite cool, you’re going to get two alternative endings to Game of Thrones.

Though he is open to an alternate ruler, Wright did have some opinions about who it shouldn’t be. When the 20-year-old actor was asked about Jon Snow (Kit Harington) ruling, all he could say was, “Urrmm…”

We'll be curious to see who ends up taking the Iron Throne if and when Martin ever concludes his series.
